There are certain wedding days that leave me feeling like the luckiest photographer in the world—simply for having been invited into a couple’s orbit, even for a moment. Megan and Spencer’s weekend was one of those.
Every detail was approached with intention and care. Their love for each other—and for the people surrounding them—was unmistakable, something every guest and vendor could feel. They began their wedding day together, soaking in the hot springs, savoring each other’s presence and easing into the day before welcoming everyone they love. They were deeply present in it all.
Megan lost her mother the year before their wedding, and yet her presence seemed to linger everywhere—in the warmth of the sunset, the softness of the breeze, the butterflies that gathered around Megan during her portraits. Throughout the weekend, Megan and Spencer held their people close, laughed freely, danced with abandon, and allowed themselves to feel everything fully.
It was a celebration filled with soul, and it meant so much to witness it.
