I will return to this day again and again for its pure, resounding beauty and connection. Weddings are one of the few opportunities in life to emphasize everything that has ever meant anything to us. When people seize the opportunity to lean in and be present, magic and unforgettable moments ensue. Michele and Henri moved through their weekend with the most intention, kindness, and presence. They celebrated their love at Henri’s childhood home, built by his wonderful parents. I was able to step into their community and memories like they were my own, constantly observing and encapsulating the depth and joy of it all. I am so grateful that they trusted me and let me in, and it was a breath of fresh, poignant air in a world that can feel performative and empty.
